Every smoker owns an ashtray. Nobody is proud of theirs.
We wanted one you'd leave on the table instead of hiding in a drawer.
Most ashtrays are an afterthought: a dish that smells by morning and gets tucked away when someone visits. Nirdhuum starts from the opposite brief. It should hold its own on a marble table, a balcony ledge or a hotel bar, and leave the room the way you found it.
We make it slowly, in small numbered batches, and offer each batch to the people on our list first.
